Highball
Glasshouse was construed deliberately to this end: you have to drink it in a highball! Grab the glasses, grab the ice, grab the soda, grab your friends, and have at it. This is not a time to be concocting elaborate cocktails. Pour 60 ml of Glasshouse over ice, top it off with soda, and enjoy an evening with your buddies. This whisky was built for fun!

Flavour Intensity
Loch Lomond, Scotland
Glasshouse comes from near Loch Lomond, a ludicrously scenic spot in the highlands of western Scotland. The distillery that produces Glasshouse sits in the shadow of majestic Ben Lomond – one of the Highlands’ cherished mountains. Beautiful, rugged, and remote, this area is a favourite of intrepid tourists willing to risk the ever-changing weather.
The perfect highball base
Whisky can be a daunting spirit. Expensive single malts sit behind the counters of exclusive clubs, where snobby drinkers loudly describe every tiny nuance and complexity of the drink in their glass. Glasshouse is the antidote to all of that: a fun, fruity whisky designed by bartenders expressly for use as a highball base. The fact that it tastes incredible when sipped neat is almost accidental.
A bright spot in the grey
Glasshouse is a simply-made whisky. It’s created from just two 100% malted barley whisky bases: one column still distillate and one pot still distillate, both from the Loch Lomond distillery in the Highlands, both aged in American oak. Its name refers to its bright, fruity character, and comes from the Victorian glass houses popular in Scotland in the 1800s, where optimistic Scots grew exotic fruits like pineapples in defiance of the climate. Glasshouse Whisky is another bright spot in the grey.
The Brains Behind It
Created by bartenders
Glasshouse is the brainchild of Alex, Josh, and Ben: three bartenders from Aberdeen. In 2015, they tried their hand at producing their own gin, setting up a tiny distillery in the basement of their bar. This project met with resounding success, and they swiftly moved on to their next idea: creating the perfect whisky for the perfect highball. Thus, Glasshouse was born.
