Sip and savour
While Highland Journey does make for a good cocktail base, drinking it neat or over ice is the best way to truly experience its whole character. Put on an old favourite from Annie Lennox or The Proclaimers, and let it transport you over to Scotland.

Flavour Intensity
Glasgow, Scotland
The Scottish Highlands are famous for their whiskies – but also for their rugged landscape, and equally rugged climate. Boasting some of the most spectacularly beautiful scenery in Europe, the cliffs, lochs, and old castles look like something out of a fairytale.
A selection of fine whiskies
Highland Journey is a small-batch blended whisky, made from selected high-quality whiskies produced by some of the finest distilleries in the Highlands. By using a selection of whiskies, some of which have been aged in American oak barrels and others in Spanish sherry barrels, the complexity and depth of the flavour palate is smoothly enhanced.
Small batches created with care
Highland Journey is bottled and labelled entirely by hand. Hunter Laing’s Master Blender has perfected the recipe, and checks each bottle carefully to ensure the quality never dips below impeccable. By working with a range of renowned distilling partners and sourcing all the casks themselves, they ensure that everything runs smoothly, every step of the way.
The Brains Behind It
A family business
The story behind Hunter Laing began in 1949. In this year, current CEO Stewart Hunter Laing’s father founded a whisky blending business in Glasgow. Stewart joined the family business fifteen years later, and has been working in whisky ever since. Stewart’s sons, Scott and Andrew, complete the Hunter Laing team.
